Printing Specifications
The following guidelines help ensure the that final output if your project
- High resolution images in either EPS or TIFF format should be in CMYK or Pantone colors. 900 dpi or above for 150-175 line screen will produce sharper images. DO NOT res images up from a lower dpi as it will not produce a better result.
- JPEG CMYK files need to be of maximum quality. Note: converted RGB JPEG files may not accurately represent how they will turn out when output for printing.
- Use Postscript fonts instead of TrueType fonts and include both matching screen and printer fonts.
- Scale your documents to their final size. Everything is printed at 100% unless you notify us otherwise.
- Submit a laser copy and a dummy plus any special instructions or comments.

back to topFile Compression
All files should be compressed using Macintosh compatible Zip format, Stuffit or PKZip. This reduces the transfer time and enables multiple files to be sent within one compressed file.
back to topElectronic Transmission
All clients wishing to send their projects electronically can upload their files to our FTP server. While we utilize email for small corrections and font updates, we do not accept full project files via email unless they are less than 5MB. There are several reasons for this, however, the main reasons are that transmission is too slow and unreliable and many times attachments are unreadable.
When transferring files via FTP always send us an email to notify us that you've completed the transfer. When emailing corrections, please include a message that clearly tells us who the file is from.
